Experience the Bonita Springs National Art Festival

Art and local culture collide to give us the now-famous Bonita Springs National Art Festival.

It’s a tour-de-force of crafts and local-centric things to do and see in what has quickly become a staple of Bonita Bay. Make sure to come and see it for yourself when you book one of our Bonita Springs pet-friendly rentals for the season. Learn all about the festival before you secure your stay.

About

The event is deceptively simple. Explore many different stations and mini-galleries at Riverside Park in downtown Bonita Springs. Walk through the park as you spot art of all shapes and sizes. See art specifically-made for the event and never seen before in the public. This includes 200 National and International artists in an array of mediums, including glassware, painting, jewelry, sculpture, woodcraft, and photography.

While the bulk of the artists derive from the local community, there’s also substantial representation internationally, with artists from Europe and Canada. The majority of the art is for sale and most vendors will accommodate shipping back to your home. Please inquire about specific shipping costs as they vary based on the artist.

The artists are not just randomly put together. Festival curators select who can present at the event, elevating the overall quality and curating the tone and style of the event. There are also juried events during the festival, which rewards prizes on quality in a variety of artistic mediums. Overall, there are 16 categories to peruse.

The festival is sponsored by local art lovers, like Navis Pack and Ship, the Center for the Arts, Spotlight News Magazine, and the Naples Daily News.

Complement your purchase of a special piece of art with a lunch and beverage. A dedicated pavilion will be set up for you and your family to eat and relax.

The event is split into three 2-day sets from January to March. These are Jan 12-13, February 9-10, and March 2-3. The festival is expected to begin at 10 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. for each day.

The Bonita Springs National Art Festival is at Riverside Park in downtown Bonita Springs. The full address is 10450 Reynolds Street, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.

Tickets

There is no admission charge and there are no tickets to the festival. The event is free. With that said, there may be clearly-labeled booths requesting donations to the art community of Bonita Springs. This money is used to provide art, dance, music, and theater resources to local youth.

The event will be held rain or shine, so be sure to attend! The event is not necessarily open to pets due to the City of Bonita Springs public ordinance.

Finally, visitors can easily use street parking in and around the park. There are also designated parking lots you can use for the festival. These will be clearly labeled and city staff will help direct visitors to the proper areas for free parking.
