Experience These Easter Events Near Bonita Springs With Your Family

Easter is in and the fun is just beginning. When you book a stay at one of our Bonita Springs pet-friendly rentals, you can dip right on over to any of these fine family-friendly Bonita Springs Easter events.

Royal Scoop’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

For over 20 years, Royal Scoops has hosted the Royal Scoop’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Now just having passed its quarter-century mark, the celebration will only get bigger and bolder. This event is a great way to enjoy the Bonita Springs weather with your family!

A team of passionate Bonita residents and the crew of Royal Scoops scatter roughly 25,000 Easter eggs in the church field by 15 8th Street in Bonita Shores.

There is no charge for the event. Children up to ten years old can run and play about on the hunt for the thousands of eggs tossed over the area. The Easter bunny will also make an appearance, allowing kids and parents a nice photo opportunity as well as offering some crème-filled candy treats.

The event is slated for April 20th at 10 a.m. The event will continue to offer numerous family-friendly activities, like a relay race with an egg on a spoon, an egg tossing contest, the cone carry, and the bunny hop. The full slate of activities should be announced a few weeks before the event.

And to top it all off, like the cherry on top, Royal Scoops is planning to serve ice cream scoops up to visiting guests.

Story Time Easter Egg Hunt

The Bonita Springs Story Time Easter Egg Hunt is a comparatively smaller-scale event. The Naples Regional Library is slated to host storytime for the holiday. The storytime is approximately 30 minutes and will include songs and a reading of fun themed stories around the Easter bunny, thanks, and love.

Visitors should also bring along an Easter basket. Guests can participate in a library-wide Easter egg hunt. The event is open to the public, with or without a library card. Participating children should be between the ages of 1 to 6. Registration is highly-recommended due to the popularity of the event.

Contact the Naples Regional Library for additional times and details.

Easter Bunny Trail

The Easter Bunny Trail is open for kids a little older. The trail is ideal for 12 and younger and offers great exposure to the nature in Bonita Springs. Visitors can come for a fun and frolicking journey through Mike Greenwell’s Bat-A-Ball and Family Fun Park, located at 35 N.E. Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.

Bring an Easter basket and a keen set of eyes to watch the fields and grasses for numerous Easter eggs. The event is free to the public, though a pet food donation is recommended. The date of the event is not confirmed, but it should be in mid-April at around 4-5 p.m.
