Italian Food at Palladio Trattoria

Palladio Trattoria

What a stellar place to dine. Palladio Trattoria has quite a track record behind it. Created by Emanuela Calcara, Emma to many, Palladio Trattoria was designed from the beginning to stand for the richest and most exemplary parts of Italy. The restaurant is named after a 1600 architect from her small home-town in the outskirts of the country.  It was here where such dishes as the Costicine d’ Agnello Lollipop style lamb chops and the Beets and Goat Cheese Salad were birthed.

Emma takes her love for her home country into her delectable wine selection, including Champagne, Brut, Piper Heidsieck, and Valdobbiadene.

Enjoy the Happy Hour at the bar from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Sunday all night. It is open for your convenience Sunday through Thursday 4 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Divieto Ristorante

This ristorante juggles a laid-back atmosphere with classic Italian fine dining. It is meticulously designed and features well over 70 signature Italian dishes. Divieto Ristorante is perhaps most famous for its thick, authentic, and absolutely dazzling fettuccine Alfredo tossed in a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wheel. You can complement this classic creamy dish with a signature cocktail, inspired from the 1920’s.

Reservations are highly recommended. Unlike many of its neighbors, the restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

La Fontanella Restaurant

La Fontanella Restaurant is classy and simple, borrowing heavily from authentic and straightforward Italian décor. White tablecloths, candles, a public wine rack, and a soft wood palette help make La Fontanella Restaurant approachable and warm. On the menu you will find classics, such as the Bruschetta al Pomodoro, Linguini alle Vongole pasta with the clam sauce, and the Linguini Pescatore with its variety of shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari. One of our personal favorites is the Pan sautéed Scottish salmon, covered in wild mushrooms, artichoke heart, and sundried tomatoes in a garlic, basil and Chardonnay wine sauce. In general, La Fontanella borrows elements from all Mediterranean cuisine, creating something welcoming and lovely.

It is located at 24600 Tamiami Trail S.

Tasty Italian Food at Lil' Italy Bistro

Lil’ Italy Bistro

Want a little piece of Italy? This family-owned and operated local bistro is a local favorite. Unlike the other restaurants listed here, Lil’ Italy Bistro is casual and low-key, adopting elements from your basic Italian pizza restaurant but adding a little Italian love and class. Sure, there’s pizza, outdoor seating with umbrellas, and some good old-fashioned Italian sandwiches, but there’s also a delightful wait staff, warm décor, and white tablecloths.

Lil’ Italy is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Ristorante Enrico

Perhaps the most arresting trait of this classic Italian eatery is its cozy outdoor patio space. Dine right in a gorgeous and warmly-lit back patio. Take advantage of an assortment of special options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Its small, casual, and more than welcoming for all ages.

Ristorante Enrico is open every day, without fail, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
